For Genius Hour this week, I have accomplished reading up to page 200. I haven't began an outline but I have started notes, and bullets for images I could draw and put into my finished work.
I am almost done with the book and will began an entire outline for the two books combined. By next week, I should begin my outline and began adding colors I may want to use in the artwork. These two books don't finish the series but they wrap the series away. The last two books are sequel books tying off the series. Hello! This week in Genius hour I've been mainly reading Rapture. I haven't started my second outline or any notes because it's a bit difficult to find outstanding adjectives.
I'm on page 100 so far and by the end of next week I hope to finish a minimum of 200 pages. Im going to begin putting my Passion outline on the actual canvas but I have to see how I am going to make my Rapture outline. Everything is going okay. Genius hour! these past two weeks I have completed a lot. Passion is complete and so is my outline for this portion of the artwork. I'm reading the next book in the series which is, Rapture. I have also completed an outline for the Passion portion of the artwork. The next few weeks I am taking to read Rapture and begin an outline.
I should be finished with the fourth book by the end of April and if I have enough time I will read Fallen in Love and Unforgiven but those aren't part of my genius hour route so those will be extras I hope to reach. Whoa, here we go. So this week in my progress into my genius hour project I am almost finished with Passion. I have at least 100 pages left to read and that will be my goal for next week. I have my notes almost completed as well.
This week was a little harder than last week to read because I had a lot of week. Being the last week before spring break I also don't doubt that I will lose motivation to want to read. However, I am going to finish the book and begin the last of the series when we return because it will even my schedule out. Until next week, Bye! Welcome back! Week three of genius hour and so far i¨m doing pretty good. So far in my adventure I have reached my target goal of getting to page 265. Next weeks goal is to read 200 pages to finish my book in two weeks and begin the last of the series. My painting process has yet to begin. I am still currently in the outline stage but I have an idea of how I am going to put this book into the artwork.
Week two, here we go! This week I have put most of my focus into the reading and note taking part of the project. So far in Passion I have reached page 105. My goal for next week is to be on 205. This will give me enough information to create a base for the book and this portion of the book into the artwork.
So far in the novel, present time Lucinda has stepped through yet another announcer to only bring her to Helston, England on June 18th, 1854. There she looks for her past self from that time and she runs into a guy named Bill. Lucinda finds Daniel but its not him. Bill tricks Luce into believing she found him. Bill guides Lucinda through the time period. Passion~ 02/24/19 The first week was basically me realizing I have to actually begin my project. I got all the materials needed and I began reading. Since I am diving straight into reading the third book (I have already read the first two, don't worry) I had to recap and find summaries of the first two to bring them together.
On the 26th, I began reading Passion and so far I'm on page 65. The book so far is Lucinda diving into her past lives. She began in Moscow, Russia in 1941. The middle of WWII. The note process hasn't started yet but I am writing down small details to potentially put into my painting. |
